Keren Slutzkin, a mum of 2 young boys and the founder of Vital Assurance recently jumped at the chance to create this nourishing Vitality Pregnancy Smoothie for us using our  Pregnancy/Ginger Cookies

Keren is a holistic Health and Wellness coach, health article writer, recipe developer and cooking demonstrator that specialises in inspiring other mums and their families to live healthier, happier lives.

Her passion is coaching mums all over Australia aged 30-45 that are overwhelmed with conflicting information around health, that don't enjoy being in the kitchen cooking, and need some additional guidance in making better decisions around their health and food choices. 

This has shown through in her easy to make Vitality Pregnancy Smoothie that she's created for us.It's a simple yet delicious and nutritious recipe that everyone can enjoy and is good for you from all aspects, but with the addition of our  Pregnancy/Ginger Cookies will help expectant mums feel amazing. 

It can easily be prepared the night before, ready for the morning to help give a boost at the beginning of the day.

Pregnancy Cookies (only use 1 if you prefer less sweet)

½ red apple, cored and chopped

½ frozen banana, chopped

¼ cup walnuts

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

2 teaspoons chia seeds

1 teaspoon fresh ginger (add more ginger if you don’t mind the spice!)

1 cup baby spinach

1 cup coconut water

4 ice cubes

Lemon juice from 1 lemon
(or just used bottle
d lemon juice)

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 60 sec until smooth and creamy.

Pour into glass and enjoy.
