Healthy Vegan Lactation Brownies - Recipe Using Yummy Mummy Food Company Lactation Support Products

Who doesn't LOVE a good brownie recipe and we're excited to share this 100% Healthy Vegan Brownie recipe that we've created using both our Booster Balls and Healthy Hot Chocolate products. 

By including these products as the base for these brownies also makes them jam-packed full of milk boosting 'galactagogue' ingredients to help your milk supply - and the good news is, they're super easy and quick to make!

HEALTHY VEGAN LACTATION BROWNIE INGREDIENTS:

BASE:

1 can organic chickpeas (rinsed & drained)

1/2 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter can be substituted)

1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

1/4 cup Yummy Mummy Food Company Healthy Hot Chocolate Yummy Mummy Food Company Healthy Hot Chocolate(Original/Choc-Chai/Choc-Mint - depending on flavour you'd like your brownie to be)

1 packet Yummy Mummy Food Company Booster Balls Yummy Mummy Food Company Booster Ballsmix

1/3 cup maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking soda

Pinch sea salt

GANACHE:

1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

2 tablespoons coconut oil

2 tablespoons coconut cream

Your choice of berries to top (is delicious with raspberries or blueberries!)

INSTRUCTIONS BASE:

  1. Preheat oven to 175c. Line a baking dish/sheet with baking paper.
  2. Blend all base ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Pour into baking dish and spread with a spatula until even.
  4. Bake for 30min and allow to cool for 10 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS GANACHE:

  1. Combine all base ingredients into a heat proof jug or saucepan and melt in microwave for 1 min or over low heat on stovetop until all combine.
  2. Pour ganache over cooled base and spread with spatula.
  3. Top with your choice of fresh berries and serve.
